Hey there again! Just wanted to catch up on things that are happening with me now, and that will happen fairly soon. 🍊
As of today, I have been living by myself for 9 months, which seems so crazy lol. I had never expected to have to live by myself, and abroad, so early on in my life. Obviously, these plans have changed due to recent events.
That being said, I feel like I am in a better position than I have been if nothing happened 😄 I learnt a ton about other countries and various opportunities that there are in the world.
And now to my plans
In August, I am going to take a dream trip to Japan! I am planning to visit several cities and events, and I can't wait to share more details about it! Probably the most concerning thing would be the climate, as August is considered a very hot season over there, and I honestly don't even know what to expect… lol
At the same time, I am heavily considering my next place to settle in. As cheap as it is living in the south of Kazakhstan, there isn't a whole lot else to say about this place. There are absolutely no interesting places or events to visit, and, well, there really is nothing great about this place at all.
I am currently looking for a place to relocate; currently, I do not see many options for a “dream country” for me to emmigrate to. Being a Russian citizen in Europe can be painful in many ways, Canada doesn't appeal to me with its housing market and laws, and US is… all over the place.
That leaves me with not many options, and my ultimate fallback option would be to move to one of the two large Kazakhstan cities, both of which have a more manageable climate, a variety of tech events, a Russian-speaking community, and just being there feels a lot better.
Sorry for lots of empty words, I'm still not used to this format 😅 I have a lot of other topics to talk about: my blog, my other techy stuff, art, job situation. I still need to decide whether I would have two separate blogs or only one, time will tell haha
